How to Get In Shape, Healthy and Strong by Crushing Your BS Excuses
Excuses…
They are a dangerous weapon people use against themselves to block them from ever achieving great health and optimum wellness.
There are countless excuses that people use to dismiss themselves from proper fitness activities and a healthy nutrition lifestyle…
“I don’t have time.”
“I hate exercise…”
“I don’t like to eat vegetables, they are boring…”
“I don’t like sweating…”
“I don’t want to give up my favorite junk foods…”
“I’m not into fitness…”
And there are more…
In this short video I share a quick thoughts on how the most successful people put their excuses behind them and go on to achieve personal fitness success that lasts a lifetime:

In this video I touch on Values, Intention, Purpose… And I have several ways to talk about these virtues (did I use that properly??).
Today I go this way…
Define Your Values – “I value my life, and I want to make it a healthy & strong one.”
Declare Your Intention – “I intend to be responsible for my own well-being and not leave it to chance and the doctors.”
Design Your Purpose – “My purpose is to lead by example, and show my family, friends and community how to live with self-awareness and self-care as a top priority.”
This is how we block out toxic people, places and things from our life. This is how we reduce negativity. This is how we decrease the forces that are trying to work against us…
==> We empower ourselves with our Values, Intentions and Purpose.
Without them we are just drifting through life, passively.
Values, Intentions and Purpose are what determine our ACTIONS… The things we do, as well as the things we DON’T DO.
And it’s those actions, repeated with consistency, that bring the continuous results and ongoing benefits that we experience by way of our ‘good’ choices made along the way.
Values, Intention, Purpose can also be applied to Corporate Wellness/Workplace Fitness programs as well.
1 – What does the business/company value?
A healthy work environment and support for the staff to pursue wellness so they can perform their jobs at their highest levels.
2 – What intention can this show?
The company wants to show its employee base that is has their best interests in mind not just professionally, but also personally.
3 – What purpose does this support?
The company management wants the culture of the business to make the quality of life better for the whole team. Better/healthier people make for a better business.
So, whether we are removing excuses for individuals – or for large groups/organizations – the incredible benefits make those old excuses seem extremely trivial.
Again – the “excuse” factor is what blocks so many people from ever reaching strong levels of health and optimum wellness.
But these excuses can all be overcome – because MANY people before us have done it.
When the person becomes “aware”, the excuses begin to disappear.
When the student is ready and ‘in gear’ – the teacher will appear.
