Let me know if you would find this helpful:
Daily Fitness requires inspiration, planning and dedication. And mind you – if you don’t “dedicate” yourself to a sensible approach to health and fitness – then you are dedicating yourself to a life of early disease, premature aging and a life lived at far less than 100% capacity…
It’s simply a choice. We all make it. A few make it in favor of a life well lived – and most others make the choice in favor of self neglect, self abuse and slow self destruction…
My mission is to get you to make the more challenging, yet MOST rewarding choice – to follow a path similar to mine…
So, I recorded this daily fitness summary to give you an overview of how my day is structured in order to maintain the levels of health and fitness I value. This is an example that anyone can follow to create their own daily routine, that can be flexible from day to day and shift when needed.
Just comment below and let me know your thoughts, feedback, questions…
Bottom Line: Would several of these each week be helpful to you in some way?
Would adding more to them be even more helpful?
If so – what would like me to add?
Jody says
It would be very helpful if you post more videos if daily routines along with meals. I’m a full time working mom with a physical job. It’s hard to get motivated after a 10 hr work day, making dinner and working out at 7:00 p.m. Showing simple routines to sculpt would be helpful. Keep doing what your doing! You make a difference everyday?
Joey Atlas says
Awesome, Jody! π Thanks for posting!
Which of my videos do you already have that you can use in a weekly schedule? (this can be done with all my free ones, but if you have some of the others, let me know)
THANKS!

Joey I had brain surgery in December finally came home Dec 25th and because I was unable to leave the hospital bed for 14 days my body looks pretty bad. I now am on blood thinners do to blood clots. I am 52 years old I eat a healthy diet, no bread, no fried foods very little sugar although I do eat fruit. I stay away from pasta, potatoes. I am 5’6 and weigh 150 , I would like to weigh 135, I do very little exercise now because I am so tired after work and I am a hairdresser and stand for up to 7 hours straight. My feet hurt really bad at end of day and even when I get out of bed. I need lots of sleep I am not one of those people who can sleep 6 hours and be good. I like 9 hours a night and lately I have been sleeping maybe 7 because of hot flashes all night . Your Video plan makes me laugh a bit. You are a man who doesn’t have to put on his make up fix his hair make breakfast and lunch for the day, you get to work from home. Your video is not for the average person. And if you have children exspecially young children a lot of them are up at 6:00 in the morning. You look fabulous but again you are a man who has a lot of freedom. Yes I watch TV in fact I love my TV shows at night between 8 to 10 . I just wish you were a bit more realistic about people . We want to be healthy , we want to take care of ourselves but we and I speak for a wide base of people we are not going to be able to follow a schedual like yours that you show on this video . Not trying to sound negative I am just being honest here and I know people being a hairdresser I know all types of people and most want to do better but like myself we are tired at the end of the 9 hour job coming home feeding out family , trying to look our best when we leave the house, it doesn’t leave much time, just saying. So my point is this video isn’t very helpful to most people. I appreciate your enthusiasm it’s just not practical.
Joey Atlas says
Hi Julie – this is a MUCH appreciated post from you, and one that deserves a substantial reply π Which I have and will be posting later. It will be helpful, I promise – not only to you – but to many others who read it the same day – or 30-something years from now… Stay tuned.

Hi Julie – I’m working on a video reply for this as there are MANY women (and some men) who are in a similar situation/mindset as yours… (my mom is one of them) .. Stay tuned!

It would be very helpful if you could post videos on how to sculpt the cellulite areas such as thighs, buttox and stomach areas. I am an elementary school teacher so it’s very hard for me to muster the energy when I get home since it is often consumed in the classroom. I often have additional planning and grading to do at home. I would appreciate some high energy nutrient insight as well. Joey I really admire you and how your day is focused on improving fitness!
Joey Atlas says
Hi Geri! Thanks for sharing your thoughts and input here. QUESTION: are you using ANY of my free videos yet?? If not – why? Have you not found/seen them?
Let me know! Very important :-0

Thank you Joey!
Morning would be a great time to exercise, but I’ve never been a “morning” person and it’s a struggle to get out of bed in the morning to be at work at 9am.
Being awake to 1am feels natural and was great when I was in grad school, but it doesn’t work now that I have a “9-5” type job.
Id like to hear about the nutritional aspect of your day too π
Joey Atlas says
Reneeee! Thanks for reposting here π (let me know if my reply comes back to you via email.. trying to make sure this system works here)
But below – please let me know what your typical evening ‘routine’ looks like – all the way until bedtime. Also – please let me know what your morning routine looks like right until you leave for work… AND – let me know what your lunch hour looks like and what options you have there.
And one more things – are you using any of my free videos yet?
THANKS!

Renee says
Hey Joey, I searched my email and didn’t find anything new from you besides the email sending me here (been on your mailing list a long time). What email would the website be sending from? Nothing in the junk folder that I can see would be from you.
You asked about my routine…Mornings, I barely get up in time to get ready to get to work at 9am. Lunch varies as there is no set time, but I have about an hour and there are several food places around – fast food, Rubios, subway, a pizza place, a burger place, chipotle, and an expensive salad bar. Food hasn’t been a priority so like today, I had intended on grabbing some oatmeal at the store on the way in, but didn’t and now it’s almost 11:10am and haven’t had breakfast yet. I’ll probably go to lunch soon. I get to work and get sucked into it and time passes and I forget to eat. I have no set schedule for after work so there is time to exercise then, it’s just finding the motivation after work to do it and figuring out when to eat dinner.
Just started looking again at the videos. Thanks!

Connie says
Hi Joey –
I am starting week two of your cellulite reduction program. Even though I’m not very good at it yet, I am encouraged : ) I can feel areas of my body working that have not had attention in years! I’m really looking forward to a stronger, more beautiful ME.
I had to make a comment Joey because Julie is right when she says that the video you make is appreciated but just isn’t realistic for the modern woman. I work 12 hour days, have an hour commute either way to work. It is the nurse’s life. I’m exhausted physically, mentally, etc when I come home home and I have two days after my shifts where I have to catch up on sleep before my batteries are charged to do much of anything!!(unfortunately) I cannot keep up the same schedule each day or have the same amount of energy each day — I can drag myself out of bed a bit earlier to do my fitness routine which I am so grateful to you for. But the rest of my day is work. What I was thinking while listening to your video is ‘but this is Joey’s work’ your work is fitness and you have an open, flexible schedule it sounds like. While I can believe that most people can definitely make SOME time to work out, a schedule like yours is not possible for most of us – well, working women, anyway. Perhaps stay-at home moms.
Like I said, I am so happy that I have found you and am excited about your program. I am journaling a bit about my progress and I’m really stoked! I know I have finally found the answer to getting rid of cellulite for good — – – wish me luck! so far so good!
Keep up the great work you are doing, Joey
your client,
Connie
Joey Atlas says
Conniieeeeeeee!! Thanks foe sharing all this!
My video (and the next ones coming) are meant as ‘conversation starters’ and when I get replies like yours and Julie’s it allows us to continue the conversation and for me to create new material here, to help address these challenges you both mention (And YES many people do face similar ones…) I will also talk about my challenges as well – and how I work around/through them…
JOURNALING is awesome!! Keep doing it – even if it’s only a little each day (trust me on this).
THANKS, Connie!

Kristina says
I get up and workout at 4:30 am. What can you recommend for pre-workout nutrition and also after a workout? Thanks!
Joey Atlas says
Hi Kristina! Great question. Some questions:
1 – What do you currently consume before? After?
2 – What type of training?
3 – What do you do after? go to work? etc…?
Thanks!!
J
Kristina says
I was doing P90X3 so I most mornings would eat an apple and drink a preworkout drink before my workout. Afterwards I would drink a protein shake. I’m already pretty fit and my diet is good but all my weight lifting and cardio didn’t get rid of some cellulite on my legs. I have switched to your symulast method as of this morning. After my workout I get ready for work. I eat breakfast at work around 7:15-7:30 am.
Joey Atlas says
So sounds like your weight is good (?) But you’re battling the dimples and shadows. Am I in the zone with that assumption?
(Are you making sure there’s no chemical sweeteners in your shakes/pre-workout? Such as aspartame, etc..)
Kristina says
You are correct! I just ordered a new preworkout that is clean. I had never paid attention to that before purchasing your program so from now on I will be sticking with the clean stuff! I’m still looking for a protein powder that’s clean. So is it okay to continue my current pre-workout/post-workout nutrition or would you suggest something else?
Joey Atlas says
Yeah so if you’re good with your weight, then I wouldn’t change anything in regards to pre/post… If you feel good just continue.
The key is to get rid of all chemical ingredients. You’re on the right track with that.
Here’s a free protein powder sample worth trying (CLEAN) http://bestbodynutrition.onedayfatloss.com/yours-free/default.asp?SID=freeproteinpowder
I don’t care for whey/milk, so I don’t use it myself (I like plant based powders). But I do use their organic protein bars. I order in bulk so the cost is much lower and I only eat half a bar at a time since they are satisfying.
J
Kristina says
Thank you for the suggestion on the protein powder! I have some questions about your anti-cellulite program and diet. Would this be the place to ask those questions or is there a better place? Thanks!
Joey Atlas says
You’re welcome!
Asking here is good for now. I’m working on a private forum section where we’ll be able to do more of this type of communication, coaching, specific advice, etc.. (should be ready by end of May)
Kristina says
I am doing the symulast method and following the diet plan also. I am an advanced weight lifter and my diet is very good. Will I lose any current muscle mass doing the symulast method? Also I have enjoyed the diet plan so far but it has some things on it that I have avoided because I thought they would cause weight gain – wheat bread, corn, most dairy. I want to be sure that the anti-cellulite programs are still sufficient for maintaining muscle/tone and not gaining fat. Thanks!
Joey Atlas says
Cool ok – no, there’s no reason you should lose any muscle mass on the lower body with SYMULAST. But being advanced you should probably go through it 2X on the days you do it… Later going to 3x in a few weeks.
I’m sure you’re doing all the other things you normally do for rest of body right?
For the nutrition part – you can do a “variation”, like you have been, following the plan but incorporating your own tweaks based on knowing your preferences of foods that already help you in others ways, and avoiding ones you believe do not help you.
Make sense?
Kristina says
This week I did your toned arms workout and the anti-cellulite cardio. I went through the arm routine two times. I will be doing the ab routine tomorrow morning. I already did the legs workout 3 times through on Monday.
Joey Atlas says
Hi Kristina!
Let me know how the lower body is feeling after 3x through π
And are you subbing all the videos in place of your other workouts?
Kristina says
Yes I am. Do you think the tightly toned arm workout and the flat sexy stomach workout are enough to not lose muscle tone in my arms? I am very satisfied with how my arms look now so I don’t want to lose that. My stomach could be a little more defined and my legs for sure! I’m 5’1 114 pounds. At my lowest weight last summer I was at 111 pounds.
Joey Atlas says
Are you competing?
Looking to gain more muscle?
Or maintain and fine-tune?
You should be fine with arms to maintain – but you might want to add a little more for variety, etc.
Penelope says
Shoot, I just sent a long reply about your fitness schedule and I have no clue where that ended up….I think I shared it on FBook. No idea.

Hi Joey! I bought the video you have for reducing cellulite, last year,,,started doing them, then I had to hv back surgery and neck surgery,,so now I’m all healed and can get back to your video, BUT I have lower back trouble, where I cannot lay flat to do the stomach exercises, WHICH I NEED, to get rid of the tummy bulge. Tell me how or what exercises I can do to get a flatter stomach without having to lay on my back, unless I can do them on the bed, that’s the only place it doesn’t hurt, Please! I am almost 64, but don’t feel it, except for this low back pain. ?. By the way,,ur a lil cutie! Thanks Joey!!
Joey Atlas says
Kathyyyyyy….! Awe thank you! π
The tummy bulge will go away with overall proper exercise… which you now have with my NB program and the free videos in this site (FIT for LIFE)
So don’t think you must do ab/core exercises for the tummy to go down… They help, BUT only if you can do them without risk. That being said, yes, on the bed is good – that works.
Also – keep the food “in the zone” and things will come together for you as the weeks progress.
Keep me posted!! π ..and please spread the word about this site and the freebies here.
Joey

I would love to hear more of your routines, even though your circumstances are different to mine, it still opens my mind to other ideas. I’m also very interested in your nutritional thoughts. There is so much conflicting information out there it’s hard to know who to believe. Thanks Joey, loving your workouts.
Joey Atlas says
Aw Susan! Thanks for the loving feedback on the ‘workouts’! Which one(s) are you doing?
Sounds like sharing my ‘shifty/flexible’ fitness training routine a few times a week would be helpful – so I will aim to do it (aiming to do another today!)
YES – you are correct on the “nutrition confusion” out there… I will also be sharing more on nutrition for sure! You can see some short videos here already: https://thejoeyatlas.com/candid-videos/

Hi Joey
Great to watch your video. Realistically I would struggle to follow a stretched, disciplined day such as yours because of work hours etc. Can you plz post a video that an average person who has to work an 8hour day(outside of their home) and, that does nor involve getting up before dawn.
Joey Atlas says
Hi Mohini!
Thanks for posting this here. I just added another video today, that may help.
But if you can provide more info about the specifics of your day, time before and after work, fitness goals, main problems/challenges, space available at home, climate and area you live/work in etc..
That will help me help you better π

Dori Himes says
Hey Joey, I truly enjoy a lot of the advice you give. We had a house fire due to a lightening strike last August, and we are just now getting back into our new house. We lost 97% of everything we own. Up until that time, I had dropped about 30 lbs and was doing a lot of intermittant fasting (short lengths), and doing some interval training and burst training. After the fire, my depression returned and I lost all motivation for eating right and working out. I only gained 7 lbs during that 6 months, but lost all the tone in my arms and legs. Now I am having to start all over again, but can’t seem to get motivated. After all the stress of losing everything, I’m just so exhausted all the time. Any tips on how to get back in the game? I’m headed for 62 years old in June, but I feel like this experience has aged my about 20 years!! Thanks for all you do Joey!
Joey Atlas says
You actually mean you’re headed for “62 years young in June…”, Dori.
You still have LOTS of life ahead of you. You’re alive. You have LIFE. You will regain everything more quickly than you thought.
The only way to overcome the feeling of ‘exhaustion’ is to take small, doable steps to start building yourself back up – FROM the inside…
Keep it simple. Map out your plan – starting today or tomorrow – and take it one day at a time. NOt sure if you’re using any of my videos, but they are a great way for you to get into the groove that you NEED to be in… (there are a bunch of free videos on this site when you sing up for the FIT for LIFE series, free.)
Let me know how you do.

A few questions:
Which specific program (I have a bunch π
And – did you email my support team yet to check status, etc?
If so, which email did you send to and what date? (I’ll check in with them to see if it sent to bulk/spam, which happens sometimes)
Either way we’ll get you what you need!
