If you saw the previous video ( Home Gym Horror Show; “Will I Have Enough Space?” ) – the one I shot just a few hours before this LIIT Shoulder Focused Session in my New Garage Home Gym and Fitness Area, then you’ll see that progress is already being made in the challenge I’m tackling at the time of this post (if you somehow come across it years later – the picture will most likely be VERY different 🙂
Here is PART 3 of My Home Gym Transplant and Fitness Room Makeover
A few things you might notice…
The sounds in the background; wind-chimes, kids playing, cars, etc… I set up the Atlas Candid Cam right outside the garage on the driveway – and it picks up everything – all good 🙂
Ok – that’s is for now… Stay tuned for PART 4 coming soon…

Hi Joey, Boy I don’t envy you. Moving stinks just because what you have to go through, as you know. But all in all it’s worth it in the end. You have a nice space there to do workouts. You’ll make out just fine. Day by day it will all come into place. I want to wish you & your daughter the very best & much happiness in your new home. Love to you both

Aw Leeeeeeee -thank you!! I appreciate your thoughts here!

To get your bikes out of the way, use a Ceiling Mount Bike Hoist. It puts your bikes up out of the way and is easy to take down & put up without having to lift it.

LOVE this idea, Kris! Been considering this…. might be one of the needed additions 🙂
Thanks!

Joey,
Thank you so much for keeping it real; and for showing us that even in the midst of moving or whatever we have going on in our busy lives, how important it is in getting our workout done. We can even workout in a small area. No more excuses! 😀
Wishing you and your family all the best!

THANKS, Sharin! 🙂

Is there maintenance required on the Sculptabod? Also how do you keep the Swiss ball clean?
Joey Atlas says
Hi Janet! Minimal maintenance on the SCULPTABOD unit. In the first few months, depending on frequency of use – there’ll be several times where you tighten all the nuts/bolts as the frame ‘settles’.. After a few times, it basically ‘locks’ itself and should rarely need tightening.
For the Swiss balls – when needed, I normally just wipe them with these all natural wipes from Seventh Gen.

Hi Joey,
I would looove to buy a Sculptabod, but the postage to Australia would be horrendous, so I won’t be buying one. What do you suggest we substitute with, that might be handy at home, to do the bodyweight exercises?
Joey Atlas says
Hi Amanda! Thanks for posting this… I’m actually exploring shipping to AUS/NZ with a specialty INTL shipper, so people like you can ‘get yours’ too 🙂
Still sound like a possibility for you?
